PURPOSES OF PRACTICUM
The purposes of the SEA TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM of the SEAMEO are to give an opportunity to practice teachers in Southeast Asia to experience new world of teaching of different approaches and classroom settings. Tests the capability of the participants to be independent in all aspects of endeavor. That could be by means of preparing their own foods, washing their own clothes, and traveling without company. Helps in the development of teaching skills, boosts confidence in talking with somebody and improvement of social skills. Most of all, how do they cope up with problems they might encounter in teaching in foreign lands in a positive way.
PROCEDURES OF PRACTICUM
In my one month in Thailand, I have done the following:
First, an orientation with the dean of Faculty of Education of LRU
Second, assignment of school of internship
Third, deployment on the assigned school
Fourth, started the first week of observation (1st week)
​ Fifth, week of teaching assistantship (2nd week)
Sixth, actual teaching (3rd week)
Seventh, evaluation and accomplishing Requirements (4th week)
Lastly, farewell party and bye bye Thailand.
OUTCOMES OF PRACTICUM
With this experience and training I was able to develop the following outcomes:

appreciation of diversity and multicultural setting

widens my perspectives with the educational system globally

enhance my thinking ability and understanding about the culture and the practices Thailand has

developed social skills and confidence in expressing myself in front of many people

helped me to feel thank you of what I have attain and achieve in life.

CHALLENGES OF PRACTICUM
In every discipline we are into we could not escape from challenges. After one month of practicum, making blog, answering workbooks,final demonstrations, reports, examinations, lesson plans, and projects are some of those requirements I need to comply on my remaining time in the first semester. You do not know where to start. Personal problems, money matters add up to the loads that I think are burdens.Only time management helps you in completing all of those. Just set things by priority.

OVERALL IMPRESSION
I just want to say thank you to the SEAMEO organizers for having this wonderful experience. I did not expect in my entire college life to be one of the participants of the SEA Teachers Exchange Students who will having a one month practicum. I was very happy to explore other places and taste the foods of Thailand. This helped me gain new friends and talk with them about similarities and differences we had.

SUGGESTIONS
I have only a very few suggestions about this program. That, the practice teaching will become more than a month or two. The longer the practice teaching there the greater the knowledge and the more the places you may visit. Also,the receiving universities will offer free foods all through out the teaching process.
