Observation on Teacher
I was observing my mentor , Teacher Nicky Watson in all his English class and I was amazed everytime I was with him. He used different strategies to arouse student interests since he is handling kindergarten, prathom 1 and 6. He had let students played but of course related to the topic. He used speakers and a mobile application that have many sounds and silly musics.He added also timers in every lessons to make students more focused and aware of the time.
I like the way he teach and I learned a lot from him. I f I were to choose my mentor on my next journey in teaching it would be him again.
He measured learning through oral recitations and activities. The class will not end unless all students talk and answer questions.The focused of the subject which he was teaching is English communication so he was able to do the primary purpose of teaching, to learn and to communicate.
